F.A.Q. Holiday in Cattolica

 

Where are you located?
The Hotel is located in Via Dante, in the pedestrian area of Cattolica, 70 m from the beach.

 

Where can I park my car?
The Hotel is located in an area where traffic is limited and so has few parking places available (only 6 and against payment); however, it has parking facilities at about 1 km and offers a free shuttle service on demand operating from 7 a.m.to 3 p.m. and then from 5.30 to 11 p.m.

 

What if I travel by train?
No problem, you can either take a taxi which costs about € 13.00 or the hotel free shuttle service. The train station is about 1 km from the hotel.

 

What time can I check in?
We are committed not to have you wait unnecessarily and let you access your room as soon as possible. If your room has not been used the night before, you can have the keys as of early morning. Otherwise, we’ll prepare it for you as soon as it is vacant. Rooms should be emptied by 9.30 a.m. on the day of departure, so it can be ready by noon of the day of arrival.

 

Check-out. Till what time I can use the room on the day of departure?
On the day of departure rooms should be vacant by 9.30 a.m. On request and subject to availability, we can arrange for you to leave later. But this option must always be agreed with reception staff and may entail an extra charge.

 

How is the hotel managed?
The hotel has been under the direct management of the owner, along with other hotels, since 1969, as part of a family tradition. The passion and enthusiasm are the same as when he started. In fact the owner-manager is present all day to make sure you have an enjoyable stay.

 

Does the hotel have a private beach?
The hotel has special agreements with two beach establishments: “Lido delle Sirene” and “Bagno Marcello”; you can choose upon arrival (guests with All Inclusive formula have reserved access to Bagno Marcello).

 

What sort of beach is there in Cattolica?
Ours is a large stretch of fine sand, ideal for children and with gradual sea depths. Beach establishments are well-equipped and organise entertainment; there are swimming-pools, hydromassage, bars and supervised activities for children.

 

What facilities are there for children?
Many. The Hotel is proud to be children-friendly: cots and small beds with safety rails can be added in the bedroom and baby bath tubs in the bathroom.
There is a kitchenette open 24/7 where parents can find vegetable or meat broth, vegetable soup, tomato sauce fresh daily. Equipment includes a microwave oven, small pans, mixer, bottle warmer, high chairs.

 

What if my child suffers from food allergy or gluten intolerance?
You can bring all special foods with you and cook them in the kitchenette or ask our chef, who will be delighted to cook them for you.

 

What is the mini club service?
Our nanny will play with your children while you eat. On party evenings, our nanny will eat with the little ones so you can be free.

 

What are the meal times in your restaurant?
Breakfast is served from 7.30 to 9.30 a.m. in the restaurant with panoramic views on Via Dante.
Lunch begins between 12.30 and 13.30 p.m.; dinner starts at 7.30 p.m., entrance to the restaurant is open till 8.30 p.m.

 

What type of service does the restaurant offer?
Lunch and dinner include a well stocked buffet of antipasti and vegetables; you will have a choice of 3 menus daily. First and second courses are served at the table. Fruit is on the table.
In the evening there is always pizza on the buffet as well as antipasti and vegetables; then a big buffet of sweets and fruit.

 

Can pets stay?
Yes, we accept small and medium size pets. An extra charge applies and the following rules must be followed:
Pets cannot enter the restaurant; in the common rooms they must be held on leash and wear a muzzle (dogs) or stay in their transporters. They should be out of the bedroom during cleaning hours so our chambermaids can work undisturbed and safely. Over the summer months, during sea bathing period, only guide dogs are allowed on the beach (see notices by Harbour Authorities).

 

What happens if we cancel our booking?
In case of cancellation, you lose your down payment. But you may use it against another holiday in the same year.

 

What happens if you leave earlier than expected?
Early departure implies payment of a minimum charge of 3 nights at B&B rate.

 

How can I pay?
We accept credit cards. Cash payments are allowed but only under 1,000.00 EUR. If you choose to pay the full amount cash on arrival, you will get a 3% discount.

 

Our family will be celebrating a special event while staying at your hotel, can you help?
We love celebrations! You will receive a complementary home-made party cake when purchasing a bottle of sparkling Berlucci or Ferrari wine at the special price of 25.00 Eur. We can also arrange for a party menu against payment of a small extra charge. Please ask reception.

 

What sort of entertainment does the Hotel organise?
Our Hotel organises two theme evenings; on Wednesdays there is a “Romagna” evening with a typical local menu, piadina cooked on the terrace, grand buffet of sweets and fruit and sparkling wine on Via Dante for everyone!!! On Fridays we organise a “Grand Gala” evening with two different types of menus (seafood or meat) in a unique atmosphere of candle light and soft music.

 

Do all bedrooms have a private bathroom?
Yes, all bedrooms in our Hotel come with an en-suite bathroom with shower or bath tub. Towels, soap, shower gel, shower cap and hair dryer are provided.

 

Is there an Internet connection in the Hotel bedrooms?
Yes, the Hotel offers free unlimited Wi-Fi Internet connection in all bedrooms and common rooms.

 

Is there a direct phone line on the bedroom?
Yes, certainly.

 

Is there a lift to access top floors?
Yes, all hotel floors are accessible by lift. The only exception is the Paolo & Francesca Suite, which is accessible through a small flight of stairs.

 

Are baby cots available?
Yes, upon request. Baby cots entail an extra charge of 15.00 Euro per day (baby rate).

 

Is there a bar in the Hotel?
Yes, there is. The bar is always open and ready to serve you.

 

Can we book tickets for fun parks from the Hotel?
Certainly, we always have tickets for pre-sale and can save you lots of Euros. Local fun and theme parks are: Aquarium of Cattolica, Acquafan of Riccione, Mirabilandia of Ravenna, Fiabilandia of Rimini, Oltremare of Riccione and Miniature Italy of Rimini Nord.

 

If you arrive early morning, can we leave our luggage in the Hotel and go to the beach?
Certainly! You can check-in when you come back from the beach.

 

What time does the hotel close at night?
The Hotel is open 24 hours a day.

 

How much does it cost to use the safe in the bedroom?
It is free. The Hotel will just ask for few Euros as deposit that will be refunded when checking-out. Check-in is from 2 p.m. onwards.
